The wisdom and experience from thirty years of trying and resolving medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, and wildfire cases, now put to use helping you resolve your clients’ cases.
Through decades of litigation, I have learned that mediation can often be the most effective way to resolve a matter. Mediation avoids the cost and risk of trial, allowing the parties to decide the outcome. Make no mistake about it, sometimes trial is the absolute right path. Many times, however, with the help of a skilled mediator, the parties can reach the best result without trial.
I have successfully tried and resolved cases for 30 years, building my practice with my own brand of compassion, strength, caring, and integrity. I bring these qualities to my mediation and dispute resolution practice, fostering an environment where you decide the outcome of your case.
My Approach to Mediation
I approach mediation with the same work ethic used to build my law practice. I put in the work before the mediation begins – meeting with and understanding the parties, mastering the facts, and identifying the key issues that often make or break the case.
- I’m clear about what I need from everyone so that the real work can begin without delays when mediation starts
- I listen, communicate, and challenge all sides to look at the bigger picture and to fully understand their cases
- I cut through the noise and focus on what really matters to each party
In my mediations, we work diligently before the mediation session so that everyone is ready to resolve the case at mediation without wasted downtime. By the time we sit down, everyone is prepared to discuss the facts, law, and issues that matter to the case.
Seeing the Case From All Sides
My experience as a successful plaintiff attorney gives me an advantage on plaintiff counsel strategies and an inside understanding about arguments, issues and concerns. I know what’s at stake for everyone, and I work tirelessly to bring a resolution that benefits all.
